The Dance Collective of Clarksville is a movement-based training space focused on dance technique, conditioning, flexibility, and intentional movement education for both youth and adults. We believe dance training should build strong, capable, confident movers while creating a supportive community that encourages growth at every level.

Our programming is designed differently than a traditional studio model. The bulk of our classes are structured in progressive series formats that allow students to build consistency, improve technique, increase body awareness, and develop strength over time. We also offer rotating pop-up classes, workshops, choreography sessions, and movement-based fitness experiences that keep training accessible, creative, and fun.

Whether you are a dancer looking for supplemental training, an adult returning to dance, a student seeking cross-training and flexibility work, or someone simply looking for a welcoming place to move, The Dance Collective was created to meet you where you are.

Located inside Total Balance Massage & Wellness, our approach is rooted in movement longevity, injury prevention, education, and community. We are passionate about creating a space where dancers and movers of all backgrounds can continue learning, training, and feeling connected to movement in a healthier and more sustainable way.

The Dance Collective of Clarksville operates inside Total Balance Massage & Wellness, creating a unique environment where dance training, movement education, recovery, and overall wellness can exist together under one roof.​

 

We believe dancers and active individuals deserve access to more than just class time. By sharing space with a wellness facility focused on massage therapy, mobility, recovery services, and body awareness, our students are surrounded by a culture that encourages healthier movement patterns, injury-conscious training, and long-term sustainability in the performing arts and fitness communities.​ This connection allows us to approach movement more intentionally, recognizing that strength, flexibility, recovery, conditioning, artistry, and overall physical wellness all play an important role in helping dancers continue growing confidently and safely.​

 

Our goal is not only to create strong performers, but to support strong, capable, and informed movers both inside and outside the studio environment.
